Depends what is high mileage... And I am not sure it is "generally agreed that you should avoid purchasing a high-mileage Cayman unless you are willing to put a lot of money into the car." Based on what? We have rebuilt a 3.4 987 motor with 25K miles on it and have seen a few with failures below 50K miles.....
