sorry for owner for the loss of his car.

CAlexio did you see it firsthand, or read about it somewhere? Looking for more info myself.
I met the owner Sunday morning. It was a great car with deviated yellow stitching. It still had a paper tag. Very nice guy too.

2nd, you have to click on this link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1554693301467074/
many will try some will fail.. but all jokes aside its a large group, all kinds of different gatherings and meetups.. have to imagine there are more porsche's per square mile in this little part of the world than most others.. bound to run into a buddy on the road once you start chatting.

The more I thought about this, the worse I felt for these folks. I know it's just a car, but it still sucks. Double suckage if this was a car they specced and waited a long time for. I hope they're able to find another one.

It was a great drive up until that last second when I had my first taste of airbag power.
The Spyder is going to make it, currently off life support but still in intensive care...I have been allowed 2 visits so far ;-). The passenger side tire, suspension, and fender took the brunt of the impact, looked worse than it was (although fellow P car owners hung their head as they drove by in a "it could have been me" moment)
Thanks all for the concern, both me and the passenger will drive another day...I mean it still needs to finish the break in period!

Hey BobSpyder2016 - sorry to hear of your incident. Every one of us DREADS such moments. Just the other day in my 993 I went just slightly too hot into a wide sweeping right-hander, in light rain and oil on the road, with slightly worn Hankooks, and did a 180 in slow motion. It happened so fast as I watch the guard rail sweep by and land facing on coming traffic. It was almost as if the Brandenburg concerto was playing this was an ice dance! Incredibly, I never touched the guard rail, or any other cars, and the on coming rush hour traffic stopped dead watching this whole thing. Unbelievable. I broke out laughing (nervously) at my good fortune. So... **** happens. I was lucky. That's my story.
Not to dwell over a "spilled Spyder" but can you share any details of how it happened? thought these cars were invincible! Too hot into a corner?
