From a previous publication, I believe he has a Gen-1.

I just spoke to friend who sold me my 987 Spyder and he told me Rohrl has an Arctic Silver 987 Spyder with LWB and loves it! Same car as mine...That's pretty cool.

On German forums, there are posts mentioning that W. Rohrl bought a 981 Spyder... because of the engine noise !

He had a 987.2 Spyder as of 6 months ago. It's possible he has both now unless he sold the 987 very recently.

He can afford and most importantly get an allocation for any limited volume Porsches


The fact that he maintains a Spyder (whether a Gen 1 or 2 or both) in his garage instead of GT4, GT3RS, GT2RS, 918 really says a lot about the intrinsic value of the Boxster Spyder


I believe he also has a CGT
