Boxster Spyder Gulf Blue with Pepita

Thank you! I must have missed or misunderstood your comment about whom you needed to speak to, so thanks for clarifying. From a quick search it looks like Mr. Mayer is a Customer Consultant with Exclusive & Tequipment, so that would position him very well to be able to help with these matters no doubt. Interesting option the leather trunk--maybe that's where Singer got their inspiration. I'm sure there might just be a few of us thinking April isn't too far away. Perfect timing for your 911R hopefully! Good luck! BTW, I have reposted some of this info in the 991 GT3 & RS thread since it is pertinent and may be of a lot of interest to some people on there too--I hope you don't mind!

Hi, Targa75,
Really great specs for your Spyder, indeed ! I didn't know you could do all this via the Porsche Exclusive dept.
BTW, I'm the French 'Viper Green' Spyderman. Mine is supposed to be delivered by mid-February 2016. I hope we'll have the chance to meet each other some day (I'm based in the Paris area too...).
Re. the 991 R, I've got some more details from my dealer: around 30 units will be allocated for the French market. As always, 918 Spyder owners get the priority to book one, then the Porsche racing team owners, and then more 'normal' customers. According to my dealer, basically anybody can get one, but a 'ranking' of the customers already owning interesting Porsche models will be made, and the 991 R will then be allocated accordingly... 10-15 units should be available for these 'normal' customers in France. I guess the same principle for 991 R allocations will be used in other markets, including NA.
Sportivement,
Thomas
