If anyone is ready to take their 981 up a notch, we have COBB Accessports in stock ready to ship, and a protuner standing by in the event you would like to take further advantage of the software and other upgrades to the car

Any idea on timing for the Cobb on the 987.2? I'm about to pull the trigger on another tune if it isn't definite/soon. Thanks!

In God we trust. All others bring data.

Actually that goes for God too.

Waiting to hear back on the Accessport myself, just picked up a 2012 CR. They are working on it but timeframe is TBD. Updates should be soon. We can do a direct ECU flash for you if you are looking for an immediate solution

What data can I supply you with?

i would be curious to know from a gt4 owner who has installed the cobb tune (esp in California with our 91 octane swill) whether the tune actually improves the driving experience... i personally have had good luck with cobbs on my turbo'ed bmw's in the e9x series but the gt4 is a naturally aspirated car... so i am more suspect on what the gains really are, esp. with other components on the car staying stock...

Unfortunately I do not have any clients in California that have installed just a Cobb Accessport on a bone stock GT4, so I would not have a that exact relevant data for you. That being said, it is no secret that Porsche has a strong history of being conservative on the factory software, especially on cars that would compete against the golden child 911 platform. I spoke with our Cobb certified protuner Steve, and for your particular application the 91 octane OTS map from Cobb would be sufficient to make the most out of the factory software without any other modifications on the car. If you do anything other modifications on the intake/exhaust it would then be worthwhile to invest in a protune.

All information can be found on their website. $895 for the accessport and our Protune will be an additional $250. Will be testing and confirming on my personal car shortly, but every Cobb on the Porsches sp far has been stellar our of the box haha

I was perusing the Cobb website earlier and can't seem to find if the redline increases with a tune? Just curious (Cayman GTS specifically)

We can change the rev limiter if desired with our Pro Tune.
