Hey guys, sorry to resurrect such an old thread but I bought the sport paddle wheel and was going to go to the dealership to get it installed but I've read a couple of posts where people couldn't get the Sport Plus light or launch control lights to work? I have the regular button shift PDK wheel, without any other buttons on it.

Has anybody gotten the paddle shift wheel lights to work after upgrading from a regular wheel? Someone mentioned that the multifunction wheels have the harness required to make those lights work but the regular plain wheel doesn't?

Would appreciate it before I spend more money getting it installed, I think I'd be kind of bummed if there were lights that didn't function =(

Default 987.2 Upgrade to paddle shifters

I just replace my wheel today with one from Suncoast. Was not that hard to do and works great. I have created a PDF of the process. This is just what I did and it worked for me.

Resurrecting this thread - So is it possible to take a PDK wheel from a 981 and stick it on a 987.2?

why to insist on 981 of you can buy same looking wheel which is designed to work on 987.2?
Suncoast sale it for example.
If you have a smashing deal on S/H 981 wheel - just try to install it and see what happens.

Yep - smashing deal on a 981 wheel. I called Suncoast and found out that you can indeed install a 981 wheel on a 987.2.

Sorry for resurrecting this post once again but I was wondered.
I've got a 987.2 pdk without phone buttons on.
Is it possible to use a macan pdk wheel?
The connectors are the same?
Is the whole procedure plug and play?
How about the airbag?
