Default Sourcing Sport Bucket Seats

Google is getting me nowhere. Where would I source OEM black bucket seats for by Spyder? Thanks!

Are you talking about the sport bucket seats? Give isringhausen Porsche a call. That's where I got mine. They seem to have to best price

Not cheap:

If you want OEM alcantara inserts, add:

Isringhausen did have lower price as Joe mentioned above. They come up now and then for sale on different forums. "GT3DE" did have a set for sale a while ago. May still have 'em since I haven't seen him post anything that they're sold. His had some rub marks on the back of one seat (if you care about that kind of stuff). There was someone selling just the driver seat for $3000 recently, but I can't find the thread now..

The seats are one thing, the inserts, which I have, are crazy priced. I have to think a custom upholstery insert would be cheaper by far when it's time to replace.

Your best bet is to find a car that was ordered with the seats.
They also pop up here for sale from time to time. Used to be around $5k - $6k a pair. Haven't looked in a while though.
Or go with Suncoast or Isringhausen. Although it seems the prices have gone up!

I am not going to drop $9k on seats. The car is probably worth $65k….so its like adding sprinkles to a turd…there is no payback. I will be patient and shop for a used set.

The increase in price on the buckets is crazy. I thought it was already crazy before the price increase. I'm guessing it has something to do with Porsche not using these seats anymore.

Its complicated. My wife had a BMW Z8 and I had a '10RS. We needed to ditch cars because we were moving into a condo. So we combined 2 into one and got the Spyder as a compromise. My wife said no to the seats, but I got to pick all other options. Once I found out people had a booster pad made….its game on!
