If you're concerned about retaining the cars value and also thinking about tracking it I would invest in a clear bra for the entire front and behind the tires to minimize the damage to the paint. I would also sink more $ into maintenance of the car with more frequent fluid changes, especially for the gearbox, brakes and engine.

Changing the tires would be the next suggestion but why not burn through what you have first.

Once you have had a taste of what the car can do in stock form then start making changes to suit your needs at the track.

I don't think the modifications would reduce the value as long as you keep all of the original equipment and return the car to stock when you decide to sell.

Spyder's handle great out of the box. Keep them original. This will help their value even more in the long run. THESE are collector cars.

Better with a geo :-)

Even better with RSS LCA and a better geo.
And better tyres.

That's as good as stock imo as you can swap out the lca at any time.
