Default 2011 Blue Ridge Boxster Summit trip report

I just want to share my Blue Ridge Boxster Summit 13 experience. And if you are interested in attending next year, you can sign the roster here: brbs.org. BTW, it's not limited to Boxsters... we had a number of Caymans, Carreras & GT3's. Someone arrived in the pepper wagon even!

Anyways, it was another great event, and this time we were right in Little Switzerland, NC - right off route 226A (the Diamondback) - a 20 min drive through the twisties, banked turns and blind corners.
Outside of the drive around Diamondback, the organizers also arranged for the group to Bristol Speedway - the world's fastest half-mile (oval). We were even given the opportunity to take our cars for a spin on the track, up to 30 degree banking @ 30' high at the upper part of the bank!
The organizers also put together another Fun Run (photo scavenger hunt) through one of the few pre-defined route options. Giving us the options to explore the local roads and also interface with local residents. My team, consisted of 7 cars took home the top prize. Here are a couple of videos:
Diamondback run (this is 7min long, the entire loop takes about 25 min):

Bristol Speedway. Having driven around the oval a few laps, I can tell you it's not as easy as it looks (at least for someone who has never driving it at speed):
