Yoseif's Boxster Gallery has some pics:

If you go to the Boxster gallery link you can search colors and combos.

This post is from quite a long way back, but I am casually looking for this car again. It was for sale in FL IIRC last year... I just downloaded the pics from Ebay. I would love to find a Viola metallic Boxster or this blue Boxster to add to my collection at some point...

Here are the pics...the car really is stunning! Oh, it may NOT be riviera blue, I don't think the ad said what the specific color was, but that was the closest color I could think of...

Riviera Blue is one of my favorites as well. There weren't any Boxsters in that color unless someone ordered it special that way. That Boxster above isn't Riviera Blue, it is Mexican Blue (or something close to that name).

I am pretty sure it is NOT Mexico blue...

Here are some pics for you.

The 968 cab is Riviera Blue
The 928 is Arrow Blue (also for some years Royal blue)
997GT3 is Riviera blue
997GT2 is Mexico blue
The Boxster again, is ????? what color?

All of these cars can be seen here on RL and these are how the colors are listed in the posts with the pics.

The Boxster could have been a paint to match color and it sure would be easy when ordering to ask for Riviera blue just like they used to make in '95/'96! It is so hard to tell w/ lighting and such...not to mention camera settings. Whatever the color it sure is pretty and I would LOVE to own it!

The blue of the Boxster is Turquoise Blue which was a standard color for 1997. Mexico Blue, Riviera Blue, and Turquoise Blue are slightly different from each other.

The Boxster is definitely 3AS,--"Blue Turquoise." It was a standard color for 1996 and 1997. Few cars were delivered in B.T.
