Great photo's Robert -
Care to share any comments about the Boxster and Boxster S?
Was this in Palm Springs? If so, then my salesman from here in Colorado was there.
Looks like an awesome time.

The side vents looked to be blocked? Is that the way that they really are?
I thought they were to allow air to the engine? ????

the new drivers side intake was redesigned to prevent the cigarrette issue and to lower the amount of moisture that gets into the air bos (thats what I was told). Air now goes into the trailing edge of the baffle and then goes up into the plenum.
the New 2.7L Boxster 5sp power-wise feels like last years Boxster S. The 2.7L with 6sp and sport chrono and adaptive suspension would definetly beat the 04 Boxster S on the track. the New Boxster S is amazing! and with sport chrono, adaptive suspenion. Well, I wouldnt want to be in a 996 and see that car in my rear view mirrow. One thing about driving inthe rain. We got to test the new Hydrophobic side windows and twin arm side mirrors. They really do shed water faster than anything ive seen before.

I noticed on the yellow in front of the rear wheel well there was a clear bra type protective film, is that on all cars or was it done just for this event?

the stoneguard in front of the rear wheels is standard. as porsche has designed hips into their cars again, this becomes necessary.
