My salesman said that he would be in palm springs for this as well.

FIrst wave of training starts sunday I believe, I fly out monday am, train monday night and tuesday, back to boston wednesday. should be quite fun....

btw: heard rumor the euro987 had a few electric snafoos similar to the 997... any truth to that?
hope not. cuz i think this one may be the best-yet boxster.

I have not heard anything about electrical gremlins, but who knows, it is a first year model... I can't wait to drive it

The cars go on sale on Sat Jan 29th, some dealerships are holding special preview events, for example Aristocrat Motors on Jan 27th. See http://www.kcrpca.org for details.

Was at a local unveiling yesterday. It looked exactly as I expected except the additional size when seen live is more evident, particularly the height of the hips. Also I believe the bumperettes are seen for the first time at the unveiling. It's amazing how much 986 and 987 are the same, yet so different. Maybe only P-lovers can really understand this. Colors on hand: Basalt, Midnight Blue, Arctic Silver, Red. Here are the bumperettes:

Correction to this btw, cars went on sale on the 15th, Porsche moved up the date from the original plan.
