New Porsche addict from Switzerland
Hello Porsche-Fans!
I am not sure if this is the right place to do but I would like to introduce myself to the Rennlist members. (of not, please move it to the right Forum) I am reading Rennlist quite a few years now and have to thank you for the great information I got here. I am having a serious look into the upcoming 718 Boxster Spyder so decided to become active in the forum now. I am 40 and live in Switzerland (close to Stuttgart), being car enthusiast for decades. I am relatively new to Porsche and bought my first P-car last March - a 2009 987.2 Boxster S in mint condition with 30 miles. I came from a Mazda Miata NC which I owned for eight years and loved it so much. I drove it all around Europe, to the Alps and the Nordschleife. I was into Subarus/JDM and Ford Mustangs before but I found the Boxster to be by far the best drivers car yet. I will be travelling to the US/FL in April and maybe there is an opportunity to meet with local Porsche enthusiasts as well.
I am really looking forward to participate and grow into your community.
Cheers, Bjorn

Bjorn, welcome and thanks for posting pics of your beautiful Boxster
It looks like your travels to the U.S. in April will be to the East Coast, but should your plans change and should you happen to come to Southern California for some reason, let us know. Would love to meet up.

Thank you guys for the warm welcome! Yes, my travels will be east coast - NY and Florida. But west coast will be our goal in the future as well.

@Roric. If you are in the Miami / South Florida area, let me know. I recently purchased a crappy lil 4 banger

You need to hook up with SwissArtPrints (Merlin) who visited several of us 'listers last year in the western US... he can give you pointers. You definitely don't want to limit your visit to the right coast!

Thank you! This time I will limit our trip to the East cost. We will have a villa in Cape Coral and travel Southern Florida. It won't be a road trip, but relaxing endless summer trip.
@Guaji
We will be in Miama, definitely! So we'll keep this in mind. Congrats to one of the very first 718 GTS! Which color did you choose? In Miami it has to be Miami blue?
