I've seen him too, but on PCH! We should have a little socal get together and drive. I know there are quite a few in the area and for such a rare car would be nice to see a few alongside each other.

That’s me! You guys must not have been in spyders that day you saw me? 2 weeks ago in Newport Beach I saw my first 981 Spyder on the road in 2 years. It was white, black wheels, classic red interior AND white roll bar covers. I’ve seen at least 9 GT4s and 5 GT3 RSs over the past 2 years on the road in LA/OC area.

Now that’s more like it! Wish I could’ve made it to that drive. Must’ve sounded evil loud with all those damn Spyders.

^^^^^ Jarhead, hope you can join us on the next drive! And yes, the sounds were amazing. Imagine the quiet and serenity of these remote back mountain roads in the early morning hours shattered by the wail and howl of eight - eight! - Spyders at WOT coming out of a series of tight/slow right-handers.

I'm in Irvine but maybe go for a Santiago Canyon run once or twice a month. 2 years and 5700 miles. I could use a good outing.
