Default Floor Mats

I am thinking of getting some new ones. I was wondering whether any of you guys have done anything unique. Maybe a contrasting color or something even more custom. I may just replace them with OEM black as Suncoast has great prices but before I do that I thought I'd see what the board has done, so let the pictures begin and thanks.

Check out these in post #119. Some of the cooler ones I've seen this year.:

I have the OEM ones in black carpet/silver and they seem pretty good. Of course I don't need water or snow proof ones, and the dealer threw them in with the car.

Lex are those OEM? Porsche is fairly vigilant about the use of their logo by outside entities.

No. Read the post. The OP names the vendor. I think it's Exoticare............or something like that. You are right about Porsche's protection over thier logo and IP, and rightfully so.

Found them, that is the right place, they start at $400.00. I don't mind a modest up charge for something custom but in this case I'd probably do tartan center panels in the sport buckets before I wipe my feet on four hundred clams.

Another option, which I'm thinking of purchasing, is weathertech. I have agate gray and trying to decide between black color or the cocoa since my interior has a hint of brown.

Weather tech is good quality but to my eye it makes the interior look too much like a truck.

I like the factory all weather mats. Not as truck-like as the weather tech.

I like the OEM all weather mats too. I've had bad experiences with the fit of Weathertech mats.

Ditto this.

I bought WeatherTech mats for my BMW. Got them in and they were several inches too short. Returned them. So it cost me $24 shipping to receive them and $24 shipping to send them back. $48 out of my pocket with nothing to show for it because their product wasn't sized correctly, but according to them was still within proper spec for the car. Bought the BMW all weather mats and they fit perfectly.

Try LLoyd mats. You can get contrast model logo stitching. They're available at a number of vendors including Suncoast and Calif. Car Cover Co. The fit and finish are first rate. As an added benefit (to me), I was able to transfer them from my Cayman to the 911.

I stuck with the original mats since they work well and stay in place. I did buy a second set for concours which stay in the closet until I need them and I don’t worry about the mats that stay in the car.

Lloyd no longer offers the logo, I'm sure I can guess why. I had them in the 986 and the embroidery thread got dirty fast. Have any of you guys put contrasting OEM colors in? Like a red mat in a black interior? I'd like to see how that looks.
