What is "high mileage" also is a function of the year of production.

My 987 Spyder is a 2012 with 15K miles. That's 3000 miles per year. Not alot of miles IMHO. There are those with less but certainly those with more.

Also, a car needs to be driven some. If not driven its also bad for it.

Porsche's if well cared for last well into 100,000 miles. German engineering.

I agree with PhilG. We each enjoy our cars in different ways. There is no right or wrong way. I enjoy my cars just owning them and looking at them in the garage as much as (almost) as driving them.

I agree with "no right or wrong way". It's your money, your car to do what ever you want. But for me, I drive it in the winter and it gets a bath every week no matter what the weather. A set of winter tires do help.

It all depends on what you considers enjoyable right? I have three sports cars because I enjoyed them when I can, but I live in two states, and all the cars are in one location for obvious reasons not NYC. Most would put me in the Queen category, but it’s really time not my lack of desire to drive.

Interesting, I just purchased a 2013 S with 47000 miles, some stone marks on the bumper, hood is good, interior perfect. One owner California car....$42k, PDK, Sport, Navi,

So far I'm really happy, my 8th Porsche.

When Honda's can go 200k, where's the worry?

Cheers
Tim
