I believe the GTS was offered in GT Silver and Rhodium. The color code for GT Silver is M7Z and the code for Rhodium is M7U.

Default GT Silver and Rhodium Silver In the Wild

^^^^ If your tastes run to a lighter shade, then Rhodium is the way to go, although I don't know that I would characterize GT as being a super dark silver.

Below are re-posts of some pics taken from a drive earlier in the year with good side-by-side comparisons of my GT Spyder and Bob's Rhodium Spyder in direct sunlight.

Rhodium was the lesser priced of the 981 silvers, GT silver was several thousand dollars and Rhodium was seven hundred. Rhodium has more blue in it. I prefer the GT silver, but wasn't willing to pay the extra price for it.

Yes, GT Silver was a $2,580 option.

Both silvers look good to me but in those pictures what pops to me is that red interior. Yummy.

You're correct - Rhodium had a blue tint, whereas GT Silver is a very pure silver. You can see GT in my avatar - I love it. It's a great color, that really pops.
