Exhaust/Race shops near Atlanta
Hi,
I have a 2007 Cayman with a complete FabSpeed exhaust. I need one of the down pipes modified or made custom in order to fit properly.
Does anyone have a contact in the Atlanta area that could do this work? I don't want to go to just any muffler shop.
Thank you,
Erik

Jason,
Do you have an email address you can share? My father (Robert Van Name) and I share the car and we have been dealing with someone in customer service for a few months. This all revolves around leaking flex pipes. Fabspeed has attempted to replace them with solid downpipes three times now without success. We’ve heard that the original drawings were thrown away. The latest is we’ve been accused of “modifying the car’s frame” which is absolutely not true. Very frustrating to have the car just sat there.

Hi Erik, thanks for posting. I'm sorry to hear about the issues you're having, I appreciate you posting so that I could be aware of the situation. I will be sure to dialogue directly with customer service today so that I can get up to speed on whats happening. Ultimately you will continue to work directly with customer service, but as your dedicated Rennlist Rep I will be here to make sure things progress smoothly and that we reach a suitable conclusion to this situation together. I will send you over a PM so that we can chat in person and I look forward to finding a solution for you. Again, thank you for letting me know what is going--I am here to serve you and the rest of this great community

Hi all,
The several attempts Fabspeed made to send correct parts left me with a collection of extensions, clamps, and a few pipes. I tried again this morning to mix and match the first 987 pipe (they sent 981 parts to start) with a later extension/clamp. This got me very close and with a little massaging I got the system to come together. I do hear a slight leak on the driver's side but I think a little more tweaking will get me there.
Thanks for the attempts at help.
