Default Bike Rack Porsche Boxster or Cayman 981-718 (2013-2018)

Just wanted to show you the neat bike rack that my daughter used for her 2014 Boxster, but it also worked on my other daughter's 2014 Cayman and on all Boxster or Cayman 981-718 (2013-2018).

Both daughters recently sold their Boxster and Cayman but if interested in more details concerning the bike rack, check out my listing in the Parts Marketplace or PM me.

Great addition to Your Porsche for Bike Enthusiasts--Does not alter Rear End look in any way and not visible with Bike Rack removed.

I initially wanted a 997 911 GT3 back in 2007/8, but my local Porsche dealer blew me off so quick I ended up giving them the middle finger and buying a 2009 Nissan R35 GT-R. I bought another GT-R in 2013, and although I found the driving experience fast and exciting, it was so anodyne with the DSG, AWD and computer doing it for me, I quickly got tired of the experience and hankered for a manual box and a real and analogue driving experience.

I saw pics and specs for the 981 GT4 in 2015 and quickly became interested. I placed a order and deposit in late 2015. I didn't know if I'd get an allocation and frequently told my (different local ) Porsche dealer if I couldn't get an allocation I'd be happy to change my order to a 991.2 GT3, but was lucky to get a GT4. My GT4 and it is an amazing car, and so much fun to drive, so I didn't regret the opportunity to get a 991.2 GT3. My daily driver is an Alfa Romeo Giulia QV, and although I'd be happy to change it to a 991.2 Carrera S, it wouldn't be because I feel I'm missing something in the GT4, but more because I love the shield marque.

What will I replace the GT4 with? when I'm ready? Well a new GT3 is always on the cards, but a new GT4 will always be considered as the first pick because, well - mid-engined, balanced, and fun.
