Default Aftermarket sirius unit or upgrade stock unit

Need your wisdom/opinions. I have a 2009 boxster base. The stock stereo unit doesn't have sirius/xm. Would it be better to have an aftermarket sirius unit installed or get a new main stereo unit with sirius?

Here's another option: get the All Access package from Sirius, which includes online streaming. Get the app on your phone, then you can listen to Sirius on your phone. Connect the phone to your car via headphone to Aux cable.

Doing it this way, all you need is the CDR Aux interface kit. You can take Sirius anywhere, home, beach, rental cars, etc. No unsightly cradle, wires, etc.

One drawbacks would be data usage, if you have a plan that limits your data. Another drawback is battery usage on your phone.
