There are a couple interesting cars making their debut today.
This one is cool from a rarity standpoint.

It's about time! Sheesh. Anyone on the fence should get in now before these take off.

Seems BAT has attracted quite a few 987 Spyders as of late. Some nice examples out there.

It's a little confusing, but in case you're keeping score (I know I am), recent BAT sales are:
On 7/18, white 987.2 Spyder sold for $62,000
On 8/8 black 987.2 Spyder sold for $60,500
There is another 987.2 Spyder currently on auction. With 4 days remaining, the current bid is $59,000.
Nothing pithy to add here. As a 987.2 Spyder owner, just glad to see the current values.

I sold my Spyder for more than I bought it for- I owned it for 5 years and bought it with 300 miles on the clock. I miss it. Great car. Do not even bother buying one with the wrong seats unless you knock $8-10K off. You will always be searching for the correct seats, and they are super pricey.

Regardless these cars have been undiscovered for so long and now that I have been exposed to many variations of Porsche I still consider it to be the top of the overall driving experience available for street use.

His spec was pretty awesome, but LWB's are a bit overrated. In the short run they definitely affect value. In the long run, I'm not so sure. Plus, frankly, I'm glad my Spyder has the sport seats. Top down early morning winter drives with heated seats are a big win.

I suspect in the "future" for a MT 987 Spyder LWB seats will matter. They were standard in a car that was developed to be a bare bones light weight traditional roadster.
