Default Aux Jack in Glove Compartment

Hey all. Just want to know - in regards to the Aux jack in the glove compartment under the socket, is the jack supposed to be flush with the panel? Mine looks to be sunken in a bit. I've had the car for 3.5 months now, and I was using an Anker Bluetooth Adapter (to stream Spotify) but I returned it due to poor volume. And I can't remember if the jack was flush to the panel or not. I've tried to look for pics online, but didn't really find any.

And if it is supposed to be flush, and mine is sunken in, any suggestions on how to fix this? I've tried to take the panel out with a soft pry tool, but there seems to be something there preventing it from coming out. And I'm a bit nervous as I don't want to break anything, knowing how much Porsche parts cost! Lol.

Any help or insight would be appreciated. I've add a pic of my Aux Jack. Thanks in advance!

Thanks in advance!

What year is your car? Mine is a '14CS.

It’s a bit strange, but the aux plug is for cars that don’t have the full nav option (or something like that). Pretty sure that in order to get the USB you have to have the nav option. I think that option is the only way you can stream BT music as well. (Not 100% sure on that.)

Your 3.5mm AUX input connector got pushed inside by probably pressing too hard. Just got a plastic trim remover or flat screwdriver and get a panel. Then you can put a AUX connector back. You will see. Nothing to worries about and nothing could be broken there.

Thank you! I will try again. I used a plastic trim remover, but I must not have been pushing hard enough to pop the panel out.

I'm pretty sure this jack will fit in the glove compartment if you remove the handle....
