I deinfitely like the silver look- platinum ends up being a sea of gray and agree with the other comment that black looks like a black hole/blob from a distance even wi perfectly clean wheels. Silver is different enough and sets off the gray.

These are the Apex wheels, I think they look really good on the car..

Finally got around getting new tires and the wheels powder coated. Agreed, black looks too...well black on black. Opted out for Charcoal grey metallic with satin finish. Too bad they could not powder coat the plastic center caps and custom rattle cans would have been 20.-, but I would have to buy min 12 of them, lol. Ended up spraying the center caps black and have to say I actually really like the contrast.
