Default Looking for basic maintenance advice

Hello, bought my first 968 last weekend. Car has had major service in the last 2K miles. New clutch, water pump, timing service complete, brakes, oil, filters etc.... it even passed CA smog.

What should I look or check for to make sure this service was done properly? If this was a 951 I would just change it all myself, maybe I will attempt on this too. Need to read up on 968 service I suppose. I just want this engine to hold together for six months or so until I swap in the turbo motor. Maybe it is OK, as is. That would be nice if so.

Others will chime in but it sounds like you are pretty well covered and can sit back and enjoy the ride. The only thing missing is the cam belt pads if the car has 100K+ miles. Some will do them as well. Good luck.

Cam chain and tensioner pads. Everything else looks good.

Thanks, will take a look when I get the car up here to the house. Having some work done on it in LA first. Get it up to CS status.
