Exhaust Advice Needed
I picked up a coupe a few weeks ago and it came with an RS Barn exhaust. I don't really love the sound of it. I am actually thinking of going to OEM stock. I like the notes of it from the videos I pulled up on YouTube. My first choice would be to have a similar sound to my 2009 997 sports exhaust but not sure that exists for the 968.
Anyone have thoughts on what exhausts to look at besides OEM?
Anyone have any leads on where I can pick up an OEM exhaust? I haven't checked my dealer to even see if they are still available yet.
And my goal is more for the exhaust sound than any performance enhancements.

My 968 came w/ a cat back that I thought was an RS barn - has a 3" pipe and a dynomax, I think. It is pretty mild/quiet.
What do you have? Cat-back or full exhaust? Headers?

Put it on a lift and post some pics! lol.
Cat back is most common upgrade. Stock exhaust to the catalytic would be two exhaust manifolds/factory headers that you can see coming off the engine - those two manifolds lead to a head pipe with two tubes that converge into one catalytic. After that if u have a single tube heading to a single muffle and pipe to the chrome tip then you have a cat back. You'd have to compare yours to the catback on RS barn website.
Here is a cat back that looks just like mine:

Mine is pretty quiet. Makes me wonder what you have if it sounds like crap. Post some pics of what you can see.

Lol - both RS barns sound like crap! Esp with headers! (in the video)
My exhaust looks like the RS barn, but I clearly have a dynomax muffler and it is actually pretty quiet.
