Default Cambelt tracking issue

I am a bit concerned that something is wrong with my cambelt tracking. I have inspected the parts , but could not see anything wrong. Take a look at the video.
Any ideas?

the belt comes off the pump last but I would also look at the tensioner bearing/pivot mount.

Default I'd not run the engine.

Have a look at my thread where my water pump threw it's pulley. It would have looked just like this prior to imploding! Please pop the cover and have a look.

I have parked the car in the garage for further inspection. The water pump is brand new. The tensioner roller was not changed as it was in very good condition with just a few miles on it. The belt was replaced due to age. I did notice that it was some play in the pivot point for the tensioner arm. My car is a 92 which do not have the o-rings and the grooves in the shaft. Is it common to replace the tensioner arm with the bushing? It is rather expensive, but I consider to replace it to get rid of all play.

Try running it with the lower covers off as well, if you dont see anything obviously wrong of course. It could help narrow down what is causing the belt to wander

If you have no luck diagnosing it it might just be a slight twist in the belt. This might disappear if it gets up to temperature a few times. But yes - run it with the cover off whilst you're doing this - it'll take a while to heat up without it though. Just a thought.

I have not been using the car since my last posting. Today I took off the cambelt covers for an inspection. Visually everything looked perfect so I started the car to look at the belt motion. I took three videos that you can look at below.
I can't understand what is causing this wobbling. The tensioner arm is not moving sideways at all, the waterpump pulley is ok. The cambelt is brand new, can it have some sort of manufacturing issue? Uneven stiffness? Right now I am considering to just replace the belt with another new one to see what happens.

Possible imperfection in this belt. I would change the belt

Ditto as above, looking at the marks in the belt that seem to repeat, the belt comes out at what looks like the same interval.

I too would say the belt might be out of form.

I sort of agree; it appears that the belt has taken some kind of set from storage.
Assuming it was a new belt, what brand and where did it come from?

The belt was new, Conti. Sold by a Porsche Centre. I didn't notice anything wrong with it when installing, but I will just replace it and see if it helps. I don't like to use the car with this belt.

I have now replaced the new Conti belt to a new one from Gates. As you can see, the tracking is now much better.
