Default Final Prototype Fitted

Had a little hiccup with the fence location, but problem solved. (You will notice the channel cut for the original fence location. The production splitter will not have this extra channel.)

The car pictured is set up for track duty and is lowered from stock. Please note: the over all size of the splitter is nearly the same as the top to bottom measurement of the OEM batwing.

Gene,

That looks really nice. Any idea when the more stock drop version may be available? Have you come up with any pricing on either unit?

Have you been to the track or up to speeds with it yet? What did you think?

Thanks
John

Default Stock vs Street

it can be ordered with or without the fence. Fence is 1.25" in height. $749 plus shipping. Keep in mind this unit extreamly resistant to wear and breakage AND it replaces the batwing.

Thanks

Default Car pics

I will take some pictures at the track this weekend.

John, no flex here! I think I could stand on it without hurting it.

Gene,

That looks like a sandwich construction, carbon fiber face sheets and a foam middle, am I correct? That should be nice and stiff. If it is .25" thick solid carbon fiber (fibre for you Brits), yes it should be incredibly stiff; you could probably hurt someone with it. We built a 1/8" thick 6' long carbon fiber C-channel for a project and you could not flex it at the ends of the "C." It could have doubled as a weapon.

I should have added that it looks great! And it is very tempting, except, I would probably scrape the heck out of it, with how the driveways are out here in LA.

Again, nice job.

Default Tegris!

Daniel, google up Tegris. Much tougher than any foam core product. Since the NASCAR drivers rub them on the track at 190 MPH you should be OK with LA traffic.

Default Savannah, GA

Roebling Road Raceway, Savannah, GA
Had to get aggressive with the wing angle to balance the car. We are running a square 10" wheel set up. The wing may not be needed with narrow front wheels/tires. I plan to raise the wing another 2" and flatten out the angle of attack.

Are these still avail? Would be interested in a 944 turbo race version.

Thanks!

Default Tegris Splitter

Due to a lack of interest in the track version, I stopped all development of the street version. Sorry for the bad news.
