Default New to 968 // Possibly running too hot?

Hi all! I recently purchased a cherry 1994 968 manual coupe, 56K miles (now 58+K miles), all original.

The out of state shop that performed the PPI told me that the car was possibly running warmer than normal. I monitor my oil temp gauge and it typically runs between the second and third white bar, fluctuating with speed and A/C running. What is normal? I was told the Temperature Sensor may need to be replaced (PN 951-606-481-00) which a new replacement one was included with the sale. Would this be the culprit if it is in fact running hot at all? Not sure as this is my first water-cooled Porsche. Thanks!

Nice car, congrats. Mine usually looks like the one in this photo. Sometimes goes up a little at stop lights or when ac is on, usually the 9 or 10 o'clock position.

Normal behavior. Leaving the AC does kick in the higher fab speed, which would make it run a bit cooler.
