Default New gear lever and ****

My interior is now basically like new!!
Installed this short shift kit, new vibration dampers, ball cup and a new ****.
The short shift lever is beautifully made but it didn't really work like they said it would, I had to cut that silver screw because it was hitting the shift shaft and to be honest I really don't notice a shortened throw too much, but maybe it could be adjusted to get a shorter throw.
I should have adjusted it a little lower as well because the **** is a little high but no biggy, I'm not taking it back apart for that.

It feels a little more solid and throw is slightly shorter but I think all of the bushings and stuff were good on my original shifter because there is not too much difference in feel to be honest.

Nice work!
A 968 could indeed use a slightly shorter throw, like on the 993. Besides that, it has a brilliant 6 speed gearbox.

Yea it's in unbelievable shape. The guy who owned this car must have worn white gloves when he was in it. The only interior flaws left to address are the radio doesn't work and one of those horizontal strakes from the center vent is missing.
Got all 4 cup 1s now, tires to go on in a couple of weeks
Then I'm focusing on suspension, brakes and transmission.
