Yep., similar to the 993 but not the same, it is missing the rake at the top that makes it blend into the fender. Interesting, but still looks strange.

It is indeed a factory made CS cab, Porsche was apparently planning on putting it in production but pulled the plug last minute since the coupé already didn't sell in large numbers.
Will try to see if the article contained other fun facts about this one-off.
That is actually the only 968 CS cab ever made...
The French magazine Flat 6 got a chance to drive it a few months ago, they were very impressed...
Not to say I know any better, but I find that hard to believe, considering the dash is an airbag dash. But things always pop up these days!
Now of course it could have had the door panels, center console, and recaro seats ordered from factory, and then later added a CS wheel, but when the cab weighs what, 500lbs more than a coupe and flexes more what is the point?
