I posted this car in March when it was on craigslist from the owner (I believe) and then I was going to look at it in June when I was in FL, it was for sale in the Jacksonville area. They said it was sold so I didn't look at it.

Now it's in Miami.....interesting.

I didn't think you could put pss9 on these cars. I can't find them for sale anywhere and bilstein doesn't show the application.

The Red 968 with the Chestnut interior was bid up to $11K and did not meet reserve. I can't remember the pricing now....but when it was for sale in March on Craigslist, I thought it was high teens, then a dealer had it in June for $15K or so? and I think it was sold to another dealer before I was going to stop and look at it.

Advertising it as a Club Sport is certainly incorrect, but this is the famous 1 of 1 Speed Yellow coupe # 9. 1 of 1 because of the sunroof delete

Interesting that the Sport seat option was under $400 per seat back in 1995....surprised that we didn't see more buyers check this box back then....

Jeff and I once discussed how many cars were fitted with Sport Seats. I don't remember the number right now but he can chime in with the answer.

I'm told that not everyone finds Sports to be comfortable

Another stunning car!...with the cruise cable covering the marque?

I dont think these were the sport seats you would get with that option on the sticker?? I have a 94 M030 car with sport seats that are NOT the hard backed club sport version of sport seats?? Thats a whole other animal that Im not sure was an option in the states??

Yeah, the routing of the cruise cable is mentioned on another thread.

The build data on this coupe has the option code for what would be "normal" Sport seats and not hardbacks. There's obviously some story as to how they got there because they've been there for years. And possible the reason the present owner is advertising it as a Club Sport.

It is certainly an interesting car with many desirable options and IMHO, the most coveted 968 coupe in NA

Think its coveted enough to bring $75K, perhaps the right collector.
