I did speak to the original owner at one point.
On edit 100% sure, the VIN matches the one I sent to Jeff to determine options. If we look in this very thread there will be a link to an earlier ebay listing from the second owner, with comments on condition at that point.

Galfax says odo turned back, 9 previous owners, belts and pump done at 50k, original wheels were Cup 1s but changed to Cup 2s, bolster worn thru and salvage title.

Just spoke with the owner. He traded work for this car. Very nice guy and forth coming, Previous owner passed away and the son traded the car for work he received on his home. Service was performed 6 - 7 years ago.Car has not been driven much at all over the last year. So it will need updating, Front Fender was replaced, PO hit the side of his garage when pulling out. He had Dementia at that point. Waiting to get service records texted to me.Just received a message from one of our Followers who lives 15 minutes away from this one. He stated to Run away from it. Guess its a Time Bomb. Owner never Texted me requested pictures or service records, Guess that speaks for it self.

Please, promptly increase the price to $38,900. Somebody needs to take my place in getting these cars valued correctly. I predicted yours to be worth at least that when I thought mine to be worth $35,000.
I took gas but you needn't unless IRS on your tail. Also, change "site" to "sight" unless you putting it on CL.
I liked this as encouragement for the 968 masses rather than a PM.
