That car is loaded with options. Combined with the rarity of the M030 and that color I think it is a $35k example fully sorted. Of course, you have to get it there......

And a $18.9K 968 racecar

Like the paint on the first one better.

Brought a trailer
Project car:
"Runs and drives. Needs some transmission work, does not go into 1st gear when in drive but does when in other gears. Tiptronic also not working. Some cosmetic work needed as well. I have not had any estimates done for any of the fixes. Top is like new and works fine."

It's been for sale for a couple of years, and the owner has apparently not wanted to sell at the price that it has been bid up to. I recall seeing buy-it-now prices or bids (I don't recall which) of well over $30K in previous auctions.
At first the history of the insurance-totaled status of the car was not shared, but the latest ebay ad seems to tell the story.
Edit; here is a thread that covered the saga of the car's listings and surrounding issues.

I don't recall seeing this one around here before-
http://stlouis.craigslist.org/cto/5831742479.html
No affiliation with owner or car.
Not sure why ad says green, looks gray to me.

That color, like some other Porsche colors, is deceptive in certain light. The gray color you see has a deep olive look on one side or one surface while appearing to be gray on others. Depends on the lighting.
I once had a 968 Cab with gray top that color and it always had at least one olive surface.
Love the dkdm odo. That had to take some advance planning.
