Just ran across this one:
https://bakersfield.craigslist.org/c...822764237.html
It looks like it is actually closer to Santa Cruz.

The VIN is WPOSA2964NS840288

It looks like it has the wood interior, but I would love Jeff to chime in and say whether or not it is original.

Nope, not original. Looks like an aftermarket kit.

Another one on Bring a T. At this rate, seems they are becoming more popular.

If all the mods were done right, worth 2 twice your bid!
If not, it would take the amount of your bid to make it so. Ask if you can get a PPI done at your expense. Worth it if you are serious and have questions, and can not look at it in person.
Set up for the track, but no strut tower brace????

If this is the same car, it’s been for sale by this or another dealer for months, maybe a year now. IIRC, the last price I saw months ago was $18K or so.
It makes me wonder why it isn’t selling? Can’t really tell condition from a few low quality photos, and there’s no mention of maintenance, needs, etc.
From what I can see it’s missing an HVAC slider **** and the floor mats are extremely dirty. Neither are big items in the least, but things like that usually raise a red flag for me about the car’s history, seller, etc.
Still, it could be a good find and maybe the dealer is anxious to move the car.

One listed on BaT: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/19...-968-coupe-13/

Catching a decent early bid.

The original owner in Indiana owned this car for 16 years and during his ownership, it accumulated 42,000 of the current 60,000 miles showing. It was traded into the local Porsche dealer in Indianapolis in 2008. The car then had owners in Virginia and Ohio through 2015, and then it landed in Oregon in 2015 before the most recent Washington State based owner acquired it in early 2018.

Mechanically the car is in top notch shape. During 2018, the car has seen new engine mounts, A/C service, a new battery, and a full alignment. The tires are three years old, and brakes are noted at 60+% at the last inspection. Service records go back to 1992 in the file and show routine regular maintenance from new.

Red on Tan with Sport Seats and LSD.

Nicely documented specimen IMO. Only $33.5K.

VIN WP0AA2960NS820501 for those interested in chasing this one.
I bought this car and it was delivered to me last week. It's pretty much perfect, exactly as described. The icing on the cake is I expected to do a timing belt upon receipt, but per records received, two previous owners have done belt based on age vs. mileage, and both clutch and and latest timing belt were done a few years ago @ 50K miles.

I wanted to thank this forum and the poster above as I would have not found this car otherwise.
