Spotted this on this morning-
https://www.nweuro.com/1992-porsche-968/
The original owner in Indiana owned this car for 16 years and during his ownership, it accumulated 42,000 of the current 60,000 miles showing. It was traded into the local Porsche dealer in Indianapolis in 2008. The car then had owners in Virginia and Ohio through 2015, and then it landed in Oregon in 2015 before the most recent Washington State based owner acquired it in early 2018.
Mechanically the car is in top notch shape. During 2018, the car has seen new engine mounts, A/C service, a new battery, and a full alignment. The tires are three years old, and brakes are noted at 60+% at the last inspection. Service records go back to 1992 in the file and show routine regular maintenance from new.
Red on Tan with Sport Seats and LSD.
Nicely documented specimen IMO. Only $33.5K.
VIN WP0AA2960NS820501 for those interested in chasing this one.

"Manufactured in April of 1992"
Must be one of the real early ones. Looks to be in nice shape. No mention of latest TB change.

Very appealing. Anyone in the area that could look at it? (They do not have any service records.)

I'll ask. I do wonder how a Ford dealership ended up with it - trade in? They did not know what a PPI was.
What do you make of the yellowed look to some of the panels? Oxidation, or just dirt?
Factoring in $1500 for a belt change and odds and ends, it could be a good driver, just wish it wasn't so far away.

Good thing it got snapped up....I have been in FL since last Friday, coming home on Thursday. Didn't want to have to go look at it!
Instead, I will finally get my CO2 blasting equipment up and running at Xmas after purchasing it in February of this year! Buying a house that you have to gut and rebuild in FL can get in the way!
