Anybody know this car?

I have seen it on Craigslist, and I think I posted here before. Some did not like it because of the supercharger, but I think the car is very tasteful. I was recently in Southern CA for work and was going to look at it.....but a house in FL fell upon my lap in the last 45 days, and we bought it, so no time to buy a car I don't need. It looks extremely clean, low miles and I think it was $15.5K asking on craigslist if I remember correctly. Seems like an incredible value based on the money that was put into it, the low miles and how clean it is.

A ‘92 coupe is now on Bring a Trailer. Subject of a recent thread on this forum.
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/19...e-968-coupe-7/

Apparently the first coupe VIN in the US. Wishing the seller a good auction.

The Riviera Blue Cab appears for sale ! Wish I had a few spare dollars to rub together. Love this color, wish the top and interior were something else but still fabulous.

According to Jeff's website - there were only 5 Cabriolets produced in Riviera Blue.

Yep, that is nice. I already have a black Cab and I'm sure I'd spend more than they want for this one to make mine that nice. Redone top, interior, paint, etc. Someone has done a lot of work. You sort of wonder why the engine was rebuilt, but it looks to me like they just figured everything else was redone, may as well do the engine too.

I assumed that they neglected the timing belt and discovered what an "Interference engine" is!

Car was on CL for $13,500 When I inquired about receipts on the engine rebuild this is what he emailed the other day......

"Automotive Concepts in Winston-Salem did the engine rebuild. The clutch was replaced by a shop that is no longer in business out in Denver, NC. They were a Porsche specialty shop. They also did a headgasket on the car and had the head sent off to a machine shop that rebuilt the top end. That did not fix the issue. The #4 cylinder had a crack in it (This was diagnosed by Black Forest Racing in Denver). I purchased the car. I had Autmotive Concepts rebuild a bottom end of a 3L motor and then install it. He verified that the timing belt, water pump, pulleys and clutch were all brand new when he pulled the engine.

I have a receipt from the work I had Automotive Concepts do, but I do not have receipts for the other work since that company is no longer in business."

Hi Guys,

I am looking for another Porsche 968 to buy. It MUST be a coupe, it MUST be a 6spd manual. Please no rust buckets, accidents, or projects. Cash buyer, but I need to be in the mid-high teens for continued marital bliss. Prefer White but open to anything. M030, 220 cars a huge plus, track prepped toys and current or former Club Race cars are great as well. Let me know what you have or if you know someone who might be willing to sell their 968. Willing to travel and ship from anywhere in the US. Reply or PM me please.

Thx
Mikey

Riviera blue is such a striking color. Love it. Price is definitely market-topping for cabs with that kind of mileage. What options does it have?
