I had pinstripe interior in my first 944, I really liked it.

Now that looks quite reasonable, and I've seen that pinstripe setup before.
The photos in the first post are just too much though, IMO.

I won't complain about them being minimally (horribly) equipped..... but, i'll stand firm; 968 interiors, steering wheels, stick shifts, door cards, seats, dashes and trim run the range of nice (headliner) to cheap, to outright ridiculous to downright horrid. a lot of indefensible garbage for a mid-90s, upscale, $43~$53,000, final edition, 968 Porsche.... and obscenely expensive to update toward a proper, tasteful, period-correct aesthetic. then, no replacement carpets offered at any price.

i might be looking at $15k+ just to complete the first updated 'Porschey/996 era' instrument panel prototype.

was at least a true, all-leather dash ever offered? door cards? console? trim?

humor me, what was offered and what extorti.... 'err price did Porsche actually charge for that?
