Help - 968 rear coilover spring rate (M030)
I'm just here for a quick visit as I belong over there in the 944NA/Turbo groups *pointing*.
We are preparing a 944NA for endurance racing, and was recommended the rear coilover shock from a 968. We got a pair with low mileage for real cheap, so we just bought it.
but...... . . .... I don't know the spring rate of the helper spring. I am trying to get hold of the seller to ask, but I thought I'd drop in here to ask if there is a simple answer.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
This forum gets relatively little 968 traffic. You should ask this same question over on the 968.net site at http://65.61.16.109/forum/default.asp
Karl.

It's a progressive spring. Up to 125# or so. Just remember that the rate of a coil spring mounted in the rear is different from a torsion bar. Here's info on that:
