Nice write up on Raj's 968 in panorama this month

Raj, it must feel great to have reached this point with your very special 968 and to share with the Porsche community, but you probably adopt the same philosophy that it's about the journey and not the destination. Panorama is a top-notch publication and you'll flip open the article in disbelief every now and then. I remember my child-like excitement like xmas morning when Karl Glynn wrote his first Excellence article about my former 968 Turbo along with Dan DeGruchy's...the process is very lengthy from concept to interview, photos and editorial approval before the issue ever gets published.
I also remember that very special 2003 Hershey where you, me, and Joska met for the first time. That 2009 trip to Hungary for F1 was an awesome experience and it's always fun to keep in touch and talk shop. It's funny how we're always tempted by more modern, faster cars like Ferrari or GT3 but the 968 is such a unique and special car - I can't explain its seduction in spite of its quirks except that all the boxes are checked as well as a tight community of friends that make the experience ever-sweeter! I think you'll be holding onto that turbo car for life just like I'm probably married to my riv blue coupe as well. It's one of those wonderful things in life that happens in the right place at the right time, an imperfect opportunity that you invest love, sweat, blood and cash into that can't be substituted by anything else out there. These cars become a part of you and the way you express yourself uniquely in a sea of boring homogeneity.

Well put my friend. I have shared wonderful experiences with people like you that I met via my 968 ownership. You guys are friends for life. If it wasn't for Don H setting up those 968 gatherings, not sure how things would have been quite different. I have my fondest memories with you guys as well. Thanks for the great times.

So...
I finally got the magazine. The pictures are beyond my expectations. Clint was just amazing. I feel honored to have him do an article on my car (he also did the article on Dario's Franchitti's Porsche).
Pete, I know you are reading this, so thank you! I am honored by your magazine writing about my 12+ years quest in building my dream car. My family feels very proud. Thanks for putting a big smile on their face .
Regards,
Raj

How did you know I was here?
You are very welcome, Raj. Thank you for making your car available—and for providing such a wonderful reminder of what makes this hobby fun!
