Default TT to trans coupling

What is the proper way to remove the TT to trans shaft coupling. I have all of the bolts removed. Won't budge. Any ideas?

I am replacing my torque tube and reindexing my torsion bars.

Thanks,
Steve

Have you loosened the clamping bolts through both inspection holes? You should be able to move the clamping sleeve back toward the transmission. In the past I've had to use a long screwdriver as a lever against the edge of the inspection hole to get it to start to move.

Yes, all four bolts are out. Thanks for the help. Trans shaft is rusty. It is soaking in PB Blaster. Should be able to get it.

PB will do it when others won't. Good luck!

Make sure the transmission is completly bolted in place before you try and remove it. It is the first thing I remove and if the crossmember and bellhousing bolts are in place it should slide right over.
