Default Insurance deductibles

Insurance deductibles
If you have more than one car insured with one carrier can they hit you up for a deductible on each one even though the damage was caused by the same incident ( Sandy)? Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks.

Does each car have a separate policy number?

Most company's will only apply the deductible to the car or policy that caused it. Some will not cover you hitting your own car. One I know of drops the deductible if you hit your own car meaning no deductible.
I am an independent Insurance appraiser and work for 50 company's . It all will depend how the policy is written.

I would assume that the deductibles from most insurance companies are "per incident, per car." I wish you luck.
