I love purple cars! Closest that I have come is Midnight Blue Metallic.

I believe he's a bit tied up.
My son is heading from Louisiana to pick up the black track car that a friend from here is buying/bought and had to work out a pickup weekend because Gene was busy.

Gene: any pictures of the 275 tires on the rear 10” rims? I want to see how round the sidewall is and how much stretch there is (or isn’t).

SM, those looks like Michelin PSS tires. They run fairly large in general especially vs Asian tires. It's pretty interesting how much fit variance there will be at times and you can't really figure much of it out by reading published tire tread widths. I have dealt with it for years now, I tend to get "stuck" with wheels that are too aggressive including on my high mileage 968. I have basically the same model tire (PS4S) on my 10" rims but I had to go with 245s. They are very stretched as you can imagine. What tire are you considering?
