day of concours ?
hey, what do you do the day of the concours ? and what do you bring ? we're going to the father's day concours in Norwalk, and I've got about a hour's drive up there. just detailing spray when we get there ?
I spent a few days cleaning #53, really liked 3M Finesse-It II Machine Polish ( used it by hand ), and got the spousal madness citation for wheel and wheelwell cleaning. I think she's got a little too much patina even for the patina award, but I have a new appreciation for Ernie's wheelwells and 9ines engine room...

so I took #53 over to the body shop to get their paintless dent guy to push out a couple of door dings before the concours... 
they have to temporarily remove the sound deadening pads to do the work ( they use a heat gun ), and the guy toasted the drivers rear quarter so they're painting the door and quarter...
could be worse, but I sure wish Murphy would take a break once in a while...
