electrical clinking sound near glove box
anybody familiar with this clicking sound that comes on when car newly started? its doesn't come out when engine has warmed up. sounds like a relay.
just want to replace the part before it totally breaks. thanks

Its caused by the climate control unit, usually from the contacts being worn or dirty. If you move the sliders back and forth a few times it may scrub the contacts clean enough for the noise to stop. Mine clicked when I first got it, after moving them back and forth a few times cleared up the problem. In my case the contacts were only dirty but if your car has higher mileage the contacts may be worn down.
If I remember correctly the climate control head unit is pretty pricey should it need to be replaced. I would hope some good used ones are available though.

It sounds like someone send morris code messages from under the dash? Mine does this as well and my A/C still isn't working.
