I would always say, "just tell me where to park it, and I'll do it". Then a argument would ensue. Or I would just stand there and WATCH them SLOWLY pull away. No one drove my baby but me!!!

I re-did my clutch with the Huntley "ultimate street package", so now my pedal effort is a bit more, the flywheel spins up real quick, and the clutch doesn't slip like a stock clutch. So, every single time I have my car valet parked, I get to sit there and watch the valet stall my car 3 or 4 times before he gets it... It usually works out like this:

(1) Valet tries to slip the clutch at low RPM (trying to be gentle), clutch grips and he stalls the car.

(2) Valet tries to give it a lot of gas to make sure that doesn't happen again... car revs real high, real fast, valet gets scared of "abusing" my car, ends up dumping the clutch while he lets off the gas, stalls it again...

(3) Sometimes they get it right here, and if they don't, they get removed from the vehicle <img src="graemlins/cussing.gif" border="0" alt="[grrrrrrr]" />
