Post Well looks like the end is near for me

A nightmare looks like it is coming true
Looks like I'm going to have to leave the country for my job. I have an incredible 1992 968. Black/tan with 86k that I cant take with me. If you are interested here are some pics to look at. This is killing me to sell it. I love this car! Only other option is to store it for unknown years till I get back.

I couldn't let that car go, myself. Store it, or you'll be kicking yourself the rest of your life. The one that got away, that sort of thing.

YES YES STORE IT if you can afford it!

I sold mine and I have regreted doing that every single day!!! I have even approached the guy I sold her to and asked him if he sells her to let me know first!!!

968's are incredible cars and I dont think Porsche will ever make such a perfect car...

I'd be willing to look after it for you , make sure nothing bad happens to it, that sort of thing.

Or if you are bent on selling it, you could give me the name and number of the guy, and I could phone him up and threaten him about maintainance every 3 months...

Sprewell, thanks for the compliments!
Indeed the 993 is a hot car especially in red...But I can tell you she is missing her other sibling... She was a redhead too and very pretty at that!

Where are you going if you do not mind me asking?

Danny I'm going to London unless I can find a way to wiggle out of it. Lord knows I have been trying. Your car looked great. I have never raced on a track. I was thinking of getting some training to do so. It looks like a blast.

Lucky you!!! You are going to the land of the CS!!!
I drove a CS is France and it knocked my socks off!!! The 968 is for me the best on the race track. It is one of the reasons why I miss so much my 968. Very forgiving and with the handling they have I used to run rings around plenty Boxsters and 911's. On completely stock form only the S from the Boxsters could stay with me, I had a friend in the same run group with me with a brand new M3 who could not stay with me on the twisty part of the track...
In Europe you can buy the best handling 968 which is the CS model and if you put her on the track you will have loads of fun. Our English friends are blessed with being really a motorsports country so you will have plenty of oportunity to drive in various race tracks. Also Europe is a ferry away and tracks like Spa or Le Mans are really a very nice weekend trip...

You WILL have fun!!! Our English Rennlisters could guide you right if you ask them...

Good luck! <img src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" />
