What do you guys think of the new 350Z? Honestly, for me its the first new car for under 30K that I would even consider over a low mileage 968. 280HP, 6 spd, new car warrenty. Its still a Nissan, though. No PCA events...

I have a Turbo S and have always loved 951's through the 968's, but I have to admit that I REALLY like the new Z car- at least what I've seen. I'll have to wait until I see one in person to really say for sure, but from what I've read, it sounds like it will be a winner. I always liked the latest 300ZX TT's too, and they were priced very well for the performance to dollar ratio, but they were SO HEAVY- they were almost 3700lbs (test). They did have the rather unique 4-wheel steering, but I could live w/out that... As for the new Z-car, I hope they can make it come through w/out weighing as much as a new 996 TT or BMW M3- maybe some 3300 (test). It does have the 4-piston Brembos, and a LSD (I'm not sure what kind, but I believe I read that it would be a Torsen-?). Anyway, that's my $.02- or would that be $.03 or so?
