Nice cab on eBay. The VIN is 1 up from Raj's riviera blue cab so they must have been on the assembly line together.

The first 968 i ever layed eyes on in person was a 1991 Guards Red Cab @ the NYSIAS. That car made me fall in love with them. I almost want to purchase a Guards Red Cab because of this.

Usually getting cars that were traded in at a dealer are great bargains. I would follow up with the dealer. They probably just want the car off their lot. It's too old for them and would price it very aggressively. I am sure they got it for next to nothing as a trade in.

Not sure if it was a trade. In the pics it has plates on the car still (unless photos were taken during appraisal-which is really rare). I'm guessing this car belongs to someone who works there, most likely one of the sales managers.

I would think an Audi dealership sales manager would be driving a dealer owned Audi demo rather than a 16 year old Porsche.

Dealers give smoking deals to their employees on their brand cars. I have plenty of friends at a local BMW dealership and they all drive BMW's, no matter how old or new. There might be a few that drive regular cars, but these people are usually answering phones etc.

I've had Demo's for years, and i also have my own cars at the same time.
As for a 968 Cab, most people who own them dont use them as a DD and have more then one car.
Just because you get a Demo, does not mean you don't own your own car/s as well. Especially a weekend toy like a Porsche Convertible.
Here is a picture for you. Taken a few weeks after i purchased my curent 968. To the left is my company car "Demo" 2005 Acura TL Nav, to the right is my daily driver (long sold) 2001 Honda Prelude Type-SH and by the garage is my 1995 Porsche 968.
People who work in this business will usually lie and tell their clients, etc that they drive a car from the manufacturer they work for.....As a sales consutant/manager...its not in your best interest to tell a client shopping for a BMW that your personal car is a Mercedes.

There is a problem with the top in one of the down-top pictures. The passenger side is not going flat at the pivot compared to the other side. Seats are a little beat too, but a nice car in general.

That's Minneapolis/St.Paul area, plenty of Rennlisters there who could take a gander.
Wonder what oil is in there...isn't 2 bar oil pressure pretty low even for idle? I don't get that low in 95 degree heat running Mobil 1 0w40.
