Default Anyone interested in a 92' 968 turbo cab.

We are finishing a MoTec build on a totally redone 92' 968 Cab with 175k on chassis.

550hp to the wheel is expected based on the last build.

That performance level is expected!

My HMR Porsche 968 Turbo was completed several years ago, and is #1. Since then, HMR has completed several, often the owners are covert about their "ride;" and HMR may have made a few technical changes as the #s increase. So, I look forward to seeing the finished HMR Turbo cab. I need to drive the several hours south to HMR.

HMR is to Porsche 968 similar to as RUF is to Porsche 911. Instead, HMR's build creates a new 968 with current solid best-of-world design and technology.

The HMR build is not inexpensive, and required several years. HMR Porsches are not sports cars that you can walk into a show room, pick out a color and options, then drive away your new car off the lot or several weeks later.

In grand tradition of expensive coach building, all HMR Porsches are bespoke and highly upgraded from the original chassis. For a select few, owning a bespoke super sports car is worth the wait and $ spent.

It is hard to place a dollar resale value on a HMR Porsche 968 Turbo. All are bespoke, hand crafted by world class craftsmen engineers; they are unique, their own thing - and very rare; seldom does one resell. If there is a transaction, under what circumstances was the car sold. Did the owner pass away, get divorced, financially tanked - none of which has to do with the HMR build so cannot be used as a comparable.

I am still loving my HMR Porsche 968 Turbo super car. The downside is that nowadays I only get to use it on the rare Sunday drive. After I bought it new, I primarily used it to drive north to Atlanta, or South to Palm Beach on business. Use hopefully can and will substantially increase.

With the above said, would I consider selling? Sure, "money talks, bull**** walks." What would I have to pay for a sports car with similar performance, reliability, excitement, PANACHE!

Very cool Lart. Last I heard the car was wrecked. Did you fix it or buy it as seen? Have any history since I sold it? Nice to see most of the motor hasn't changed. How's it running?

Never mind, I see that you are parting it out. Exactly the reason I left this site. Good luck.
