Nice catch, and looks like a nice car. Guards Red in socal often gets a tomato hue, this one looks like it was well taken care of.

It helps to have a craigslist search program that sends emails of new 968 ads to my iphone every 5 minutes! I love that program!

"Porsche made less than a hundred factory M030 968's available for the USA"

Anyone want to comment on this part of the ad, is that accurate?

considering the fact that only 258 1995 Coupes were sold in the u.s, I think its safe to say less then 100 of them were ordered with the MO30 option code.

I don't know whether to read that as MO30's altogether over 92-95 or for 95. I'd say 100 would be low for all model years, and way too high for 95s.

I think I have read that there were less than 100 from 1993 to 1995 with option 030. I don't think it was available in 1992.

i think 100 for all years is to low a number. But i could be wrong. They are def. rare birds. I wonder how many tiptronic MO30 coupes were sold here and how many Manual transmission cars with O30 but no LSD.

a '92 O30 car W/ LSD (Clutch Type) would be the ultimate unmodified track car. But like you said, i dont think i've ever seen a '92 with O30.

I think there's only 100-200 m030 968's in the USA, all years included. Great price for that car and mileage though. I wonder if it's all original.

Well, i only have 200+ coupes in the registry now and I'm still working on them. Most are 92s and I only have 10+ M030s so far (including a tip car) so I'm guess the number will be around 100. I hope to have the coupe registry done by the end of the year.
